A whiskey sour on Mexican corn whisky, sweetened with a syrup of charred corn and its cobs.
One of Superbueno's best-known drinks. The accounts agree on the base — Abasolo, a Mexican corn whisky, with a little tequila, lemon and egg white — and on charred corn dusted over the foam.
One describes the syrup: corn charred, its kernels steeped for a day with brown sugar, guajillo, epazote and spices, and the cobs made into a tea and sweetened. No measured spec has been published.
