White rice with a little of many things: shredded spiced chicken, sate lilit, lawar, egg, peanuts, greens and sambal matah.
Nasi campur, mixed rice, is eaten all over Indonesia; Bali's is its own because of what goes on the plate. From a warung counter you might get ayam sisit (chicken shredded with chilli), sate lilit, lawar, a spiced egg, fried peanuts, urab greens with coconut, and a spoon of sambal matah.
No two warungs agree on the set, and that's the point: it's the everyday lunch of Denpasar and the south.
