1Homemade orgeat
Blend blanched almonds with simple syrup, strain, add a drop of orange flower water
Look for one made with real almonds; many cheap ones are almond-flavoured sugar syrup.
Worth knowing
Make your own: blend blanched almonds (toasted, for depth) with water, strain through a nut-milk bag, and dissolve an equal weight of sugar in the milk. A few drops of orange-flower water at the end. It separates in the fridge — shake before using, and use within a couple of weeks.
