Knowing it

Where to buy
Any supermarket. Other Venetian aperitivi are worth tasting beside it.
A little history
Launched in Padua in 1919; now owned by Campari.
Worth knowing
Spritz: three parts prosecco, two Aperol, a splash of soda, lots of ice, a slice of orange. Pour the wine first so the Aperol mixes itself and nothing needs stirring out of the bubbles.
